The IRS sends multiple notices to taxpayers in relation to a tax levy.

"Notice of intend to levy", "Final notice of intend to levy" or "Notice of levy". Sometimes the taxpayer does not receive any notice and the levy comes as a surprise. Regardless of what notice you receive, or whether you receive a notice at all, you must contact an attorney to represent you before the IRS. The garnishment can be stopped. The levy can be prevented from occuring or re-occuring.

A tax levy can be appealed based on hardship. "Hardship" is determined after looking at your income and assets. If we can establish "hardship" and demonstrate to the IRS that you are "uncollectible", we can remove the levy and eliminate the tax liability through offer in compromise.
